We stand behind every repair and installation we do in Miami with one simple rule: if it’s not done right, we fix it. That’s not marketing language. It’s printed on every work order, it’s explained before the first tool comes off the truck, and it’s backed by a full year of coverage called the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If a repair we made fails within that year, we return at no charge. No fine print, no prorated nonsense, no argument about whose fault it was. Marco Benitez runs Dalton Heating & Air Miami on that standard, and every technician who wears our uniform is held to it.
What’s Covered
- Workmanship for a full year. Every repair we complete is guaranteed in writing for 365 days under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, not a 30-day window.
- Written price before any work starts. You approve a fixed number on paper first. That number does not move. No “unexpected complications” upcharge, no end-of-job surprise.
- Written guarantee on every repair. Not an upgrade you have to ask for. It’s included with every service call, every time, as part of The Garrison Standard.
- Free second visit if the repair fails. If the work doesn’t hold within the guarantee period, we come back and make it right at no charge. That’s the whole point of a guarantee.
- Factory-trained service on nine major brands. Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. We know the equipment, so we fix it correctly the first time.
- Arrival inside the stated window. The Garrison Code requires our technicians to show up when we say we will. If we give you a two-hour window, that’s when we’re there.
- A clean job site when we leave. The Garrison Code says leave the site clean. That means no scrap metal, no wire clippings, no oily fingerprints on your walls.
- Background-checked, uniformed technicians. You’ll know who is coming before they ring your bell. No mystery subcontractors in unmarked vans.

Our Satisfaction Promise
If something about the work doesn’t sit right with you, you call the same number that’s on your invoice, and you get a live person. Not a voicemail tree. Not a “we’ll get back to you within two business days.” A person answers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You explain the problem. We schedule the return visit. Marco Benitez has a standing rule for every Dalton Heating & Air Miami service call: the customer’s word about their own discomfort carries real weight. We don’t make you prove you’re unhappy. If the repair didn’t solve the problem, we’re coming back under the written guarantee. If the installation left something off, we’re coming back to finish it. If the technician left anything out of place, we want to know because that’s a violation of The Garrison Code, and we address it directly. The promise is not “we’ll try.” The promise is that the price you approved, the work you were told would happen, and the guarantee we put in writing are all backstopped by a company that has operated since 2003 under a standard with real teeth. If we fall short, you’ll see how fast we move to fix it.
Licensed & Insured Backing
A guarantee is only as good as the company behind it. Dalton Heating & Air Miami is a state-licensed, insured, and bonded HVAC contractor serving Miami and the surrounding areas. What does that mean for you? It means the work we do is performed under a legal and financial structure that protects you if something goes wrong. It means our technicians carry the credentials Florida requires for this trade, not just a tool bag and a confident handshake. It means every job is documented, every guarantee is enforceable, and every technician is background-checked before they ever set foot in a customer’s home. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a verbal assurance from a one-man operation that might not exist next year. It’s a written commitment from a Garrison Partners company that has been accountable to homeowners since 2003. Insurance coverage protects your property. Licensing protects the work. And Marco Benitez protects the standard that connects both.
What The Garrison Standard Means in Miami
Most HVAC promises sound the same because they’re written by marketers. Ours is a code we actually have to live up to on every single job in Miami. The Garrison Standard has five parts, and every Dalton technician is bound to them:
- Arrive inside the stated window. Miami traffic on the Palmetto or I-95 is real, which is why we build realistic arrival windows into every schedule. When we commit to a time, we honor it.
- Price in writing before starting. You see the number, you approve the number, then we start. If a tech ever tries to start work without written approval, that’s a violation of the code we hold them to.
- Do the job by the book. Manufacturer specs, local Miami-Dade building requirements, indoor air quality standards. The job gets done the way the equipment is designed to be serviced.
- Leave the site clean. Your home is not a job site when we leave. It’s your home. The filter packaging, the old capacitor, the zip ties: they go with us.
- Stand behind the work for a full year. The 365-Day Done Right Promise is the enforcement mechanism. If it fails, we return at no charge.
Why a 365-Day Guarantee Matters More Than You’d Think
Most HVAC repair guarantees in Miami are 30 or 90 days. Sometimes they’re just implied and not written down at all. The problem with a short window is that HVAC failures don’t follow a calendar. A capacitor might test fine on the day of the repair and give out three months later. A refrigerant leak might be slow enough that the system holds pressure for weeks before performance drops. A condensate line might drain fine for a while before the clog re-forms. With a 30-day guarantee, you’re on your own when those things surface. With our 365-Day Done Right Promise, you’re covered. The repair is guaranteed in writing for a full year. If it fails in that time, we return at no charge. That’s the difference between a guarantee that protects the contractor and a guarantee that protects the homeowner. We print it on every invoice. You don’t have to ask for it, and you don’t have to upgrade to get it.

AfterWhat About Manufacturer Warranties?
The written guarantee we provide covers our workmanship on repairs and installations. Separately, the equipment itself is typically covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Since Dalton Heating & Air Miami is factory-trained on nine major brands, we handle warranty parts and labor coordination correctly the first time. If you have a Carrier system under warranty, we file the claim. Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, American Standard: same process. The manufacturer warranty covers the part. Our written guarantee covers the work we did installing or repairing it. Together, you have two layers of protection. We’d rather explain exactly what each layer covers than let you find out the hard way that your “warranty” had a gap. Call (850) 754-6042 and ask us directly. We’ll tell you what’s covered on your specific system before you ever book a visit.
What Happens When a Repair Doesn’t Hold
Here’s the process, step by step, because it’s not complicated and we don’t want it to be:
- You call (850) 754-6042. A live person answers. 24/7. No voicemail queue, no callback window.
- We pull your service history. Every Dalton job is documented. We know what was repaired, when, and by which technician.
- We schedule the return visit. You get a stated window, and our technician arrives inside it. That’s The Garrison Code in action.
- We diagnose the problem honestly. If it’s the same component or the same failure we repaired before, the return visit and the corrective work are free under the 365-Day Done Right Promise.
- We fix it, then we document everything. The new repair gets its own written guarantee. The protection resets.
One important note for Miami homeowners: if the original problem is fixed and a completely different part fails later, that’s a new repair with its own written price and its own written guarantee. That’s fair, and we’ll always tell you upfront which situation you’re in. What we will never do is hide behind a technicality to avoid coming back. The free second visit exists because it has to. A guarantee that evaporates at the first challenge isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.
Our Guarantee and Your AC in Miami Heat
Miami’s climate doesn’t give HVAC systems any slack. Your AC runs harder in a single Miami summer than systems in most of the country run all year. Salt air near the coast eats condenser coils. Humidity taxes drainage systems. Long runtimes stress compressors and capacitors. This is exactly the environment where a repair guarantee gets tested. We’re not afraid of that test, because we’ve been doing this work in Miami since 2003. The 365-Day Done Right Promise was built for a climate that punishes weak repairs. If our work holds through a full Miami summer and into the mild winter months, it’s holding. If it doesn’t, we’re back at your door. That’s the deal. Marco Benitez doesn’t offer it as a sales pitch. He offers it because it’s the only way to run an HVAC company and be able to look a customer in the eye.
Questions Miami Homeowners Ask Us
Is the 365-Day Done Right Promise really included on every repair?
Yes. The repair is guaranteed in writing for a full year on every service call. It is not an upgrade, not an add-on, not a loyalty perk. It’s part of The Garrison Standard, and every Dalton Heating & Air Miami customer gets it. If a repair fails within that year, we return at no charge.
What does “written price before any work starts” actually mean?
It means you get a fixed price on paper before our technician begins the repair. You review it. You approve it. Then work starts. If additional work is needed during the repair, you approve that addendum in writing too. There is no scenario where the final invoice is a surprise. Call (850) 754-6042 if you want to hear us explain it, but honestly, the first time you see the work order it’ll make sense immediately.
Do you charge for the return visit if a repair fails?
No. The return visit is free if the original repair failed within the 365-day guarantee period. The diagnostic visit, the labor, and the corrective repair are all covered. That’s the entire point of the promise. If a repair we made doesn’t hold, we’re back at your door on our dime.
Are your technicians actually licensed and insured?
Yes. Dalton Heating & Air Miami is a licensed, insured, and bonded HVAC contractor. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed. You’ll know who is coming before they arrive, and the work is covered under the proper Florida credentials. We’re also part of Garrison Partners, which has held contractors to The Garrison Standard since 2003.
What if I’m not happy with the work but nothing failed?
Call us. Right then, or the next day. The number is (850) 754-6042 and a real person answers 24/7. We’ll listen to what’s wrong, pull your service record, and figure out the next step. Sometimes it’s a simple fix like adjusting airflow. Sometimes we need a senior technician to review the install. Whatever the issue, the guarantee exists to protect your satisfaction with the work, not just the mechanical function of the equipment. We’d rather spend the time making it right than win an argument and lose a customer.
